Olivier was invited by the Bern Symphony Orchestra (Berner Symphonieorchester, BSO) to create the BSO Jazz Orchestra, a big band line-up with BSO members and Swiss renowned jazz musicians. Olivier plays and leads the band from his seat in the trumpet section. 

During two seasons, the band performed several times "The Jungle Book". In November 2021, with two sold out shows, the BSO Jazz Orchestra presented "Nutcracker", a showpiece for families based on Tchaikovsky's music arranged by Duke Ellington.
